Yee Law Group Inc. is offering a legal student scholarship to those who are interested in the importance of civil justice. As a law firm dedicated to protecting peoples’ rights it is our ambition to inspire the youth of the future into also preserving, and sharing, this important matter.

With three offices in Sacramento, Roseville, and Folsom, Yee Law Group Inc. has garnered a strong reputation through southern California. We proudly speak on behalf of those who feel they do not have a voice, and are ready to fight for their rights.

Enthusiastic about civil rights and their accessibility, we dream of seeing a future in which everyone will be able to equally access the US civil justice system. It is through this inspiration that we have created our civil justice scholarship.

Eligibility Details

The Yee Law Group Inc. scholarship is valued at $500 and open to both students and aspiring students who are enrolled (enrolling) in a legal educational program.

Applicants should be either a junior or senior in high school, or already a student in college or university.

High school students are able to use the scholarship for books or related material as well as tuition fees, or towards prospective future fees for schooling.

College and university students may also use the scholarship for related expenses that are in line with our vision. Students must be attending a college or university that is accredited and in the US.

All students are not necessarily required to be enrolled in a legal program, but he or she should be interested in social and civil justice. Furthermore this needs to be demonstrated through various past and current experiences that are volunteer or work related.

A minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing is also necessary.

Applying for the Civil Justice Scholarship

In order to apply, we ask that you send our law firm the following:

  • A current resume (if you are in high school and not working, please list any volunteer, or other relevant, activity)
  • A 1000 word essay which discusses this question: How can our society ensure that each and every person has access to the US civil justice system regardless of their social or financial standing?
  • An unofficial transcript
